It's only a standard wordpress theme like, it's more than I can't be arsed / don't have time to tweak little bits and bobs. Not right now anyway.

They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

"18 Apr 2010 – Newcastle Online FC 3-1 Whitby Wanderers [IFA]"

Does not compute...

Given that we had been struggling for players...I thought it was unnecessary at the time.

Good Job.

I did send Stu a picture of my design on monday, had no response back. ???

Just a point for getting extra people involved:

I've been told by some of the Journo's on twitter we should not call the team NOFC as the online bit seems to connect the team online with the forum.

What are people's thoughts on this?

As NUSC/NUST/Official Protest Group/United4Newcastle have proven, it doesn't matter what you call yourself if you're going to misrepresent a section of the supporters.

NOFC is quite simply a Newcastle United supporters' team.
We don't claim to be 'official' or affiliated.
We're open to any Newcastle United supporters.
The 'Newcastle Online' part of the name pays homage to the origins of the team and the fact that we play in the Internet Football Association competitions.

Yes, it's just they've said they would help in regards to contacting the club etc.  But if it's associated with a forum, then the club is very likely to say no about stuff. :(

A Question regards asking about for players and to keep people interested in NOFC.

Would getting people to like an NOFC Facebook page so they get updates of fixtures, results, photo's etc be useful in all of this ???
