Newcastle boss Alan Pardew on the injuries to Ryan Taylor and Leon Best in his side's win over Aston Villa"The good news for Ryan Taylor is that there is no break or fracture so we think he's going to be OK and there's big swelling on the leg. We're very pleased because he's been fantastic for us this year. For Leon best he's got a medial ligament problem which is usually a six-week injury."
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.
Pilko is too bright for such a young guy.
I hate hate hate the divine intervention that keeps Shola in the 11-14 players that make it onto the pitch for us each week.
Newcastle United can today confirm that Leon Best has sustained medial ligament damage to his left knee. The striker was forced off in the early stages of Sunday's home victory over Aston Villa, having picked up an injury while trying to get a shot away. After being assessed by the Club's medical staff, Best underwent a scan on Tuesday and will be out for a number of weeks.
Poor Besty Just hope that HBA is promoted to 3rd choice forward (depending on circumstances obviously). Shola getting more game time is a s*** thought.
it's more than 6 weeks then!
