He's puts himself about so I give him a lot of credit for that. His heading is atrocious though.

I agree. I'm not one of those people that have wrote him off. thought he would be a decent squad player, but now he's important. He offers presence upfront....... unlike someone like lovenkrands.

He has the potential to be half decent if he'd apply himself a little more sometimes and learn to head the ball.

Shouldve had 5 to for his onside goal, unlucky v spurs when he hit the post on top of that.

He's f***ing terrible give me a break, he's just lucky that Loven is worse and that Ranger is such a good impact sub.

He was offside too many times today, seemed lost and out of position at times, yet a goal and assist is enough to shut me up for now.

Isn't as bad as many make out. His heading is s***, but he's decent on the ground. Gives 100% and has good footwork.

We need better, but he's an OK player.

The good thing is he finds himself in goal scoring positions every game. He's still a bit in over his head, but there's something encouraging there. A bit more confidence for him today. I think with a run of games, which he will have to have now he will get better. Nowhere near as infuriating or dimwitted as Shola, despite not being at Shola's level yet. I for one appreciate that much at least.

I'm glad he scored today because he was getting tremendous flak in the match thread. But he's got balls if nowt else because he didn't hide and kept going for the goal. Important player for us now because he holds the ball up reasonably well. Pleased for the lad.

He was beyond awful against Fulham. Seems to prefer playing at home. Will do for 4th choice but expecting him to fill Carroll's void is unfair on him.
