Being replaced by Emile Heskey will do that to you.

I still have no idea what that was about, almost as if McCleish was trying to help us out

Having an angry Scot barking s*** for 90 minutes in your direction probably doesn't help.

His last few retweets.
Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

He's angling for a move to Sunderland. RTG must be in meltdown.

charles, joey, kevin, jose, andy...is it possible we may rate players higher when they are here (black and white galsses) than we would if they were playing elsewhere ?
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.

They have O'Neill, if they get Zog there won't be enough sisters left for all the kids they try to produce.
Acceptance level adequate.

I agree, apart from with José.
Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.

I'd have Enrique and N'Zogbia back.

I don't care how much ability he has, he's never going to amount to much with that terrible attitude.

It's blatantly never going to work out with him and an "angry old man" type of manager like McLeish. Reckon Martinez probably managed him fairly well at Wigan. (The "velvet glove" approach, as Roeder used to call it.)

I can imagine him being a poisonous influence in any dressing room. Ultimately glad we let him go and glad we didn't re-sign him. May he wander through a heap of mid-table clubs for the remainder of his career.

I'd rather him than Hoilett at least. But yeah not sure where he'd fit in frankly and the same goes for Hoilett, whose only advantage is that he prefers his right peg.

what a tiresome little w*****. i was heavily criticising the club for not stumping up the cash for him in the summer, seems they got that one right as well.
