Does anyone here like to Run?

They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

I hate it.  Nae point to it.  I play football but you're running with a purpose in that game - there's something at the end of it, a goal, a tackle, something.  Never understood running on its own.  "I got there first!".  Well done.  I got there 486468th and i was a lot less knackered than you.  Fuckin mug's game.
I'm bored of Hampden anyway

I'm s*** at it. Not even due to fitness, pulled both my hamstrings when I was younger so I run like a spakered chicken.

I try to go on at least one 6 mile run once a week but am slightly restricted as I often get shin splints and have to take a few days/weeks off at a time.

I've just started running again this week after an injury to my knee since October and can't wait to start again, I was planning on doing the Reading half marathon down here but it clashes with my birthday again so I'll possibly drive down to Cornwall later on in the year and take part in the Eden Project half marathon as it's something I've wanted to try since they starter it.

Also, I don't know if you have it or use it but as a cheap pedometer/GPS I'd recommend downloading the Nike Plus GPS  for the iPhone, it's quite useful for viewing how and where you ran, how fast you went, the elevatoin of the land etc, you can also set yourself longterm goals once you sign up with the Nike site.

My goal for this year is to cover 400 miles, last years was 250 which I covered whilst taking 5 months out with 2 different injuries.

Funny when you're running and pumping at the same time. I always pretend it's propelling me to a higher velocity.

Running's s*** though. Only time I run is when I'm p*ssed and I suddenly decide I'm Forrest Gump.

Shouldn't they have healed by now?  Or do you mean when you were a week younger?

HTT on Kevin Keegan.  The glory days are back on N-O.  This is the sort of quality I look for in a forum.

Badly cluttered forums are a disease, HTT's the cure is what I say tbh.

When I am p*ssed I reckon I can do the 100 metres in about 8 and a half seconds. I could also run the London Marathon at a sprint.

I can definitely run faster at night.  Anyone else experience this phenomenon?  Specifically when it's dark btw.

I've heard you're like the T1000 in that scene when he chases the car in Terminator 2.
