And why does it always show what's in the first post? Utterly useless.

It usually shows whats in the first unread post.

Is there supposed to be something that tells you which threads have new posts in? The green thing rarely works, if it's meant to be that. And what do the numbers mean?

It's alright this, but nowhere near as good as made out to be.

I click on forum at the bottom and it shows which have new posts in them with the nice new icon.

In settings on tapatalk you can change thread loading behaviour to show first unread as well rather than having to see the first post each time.

Nah, I mean when you're looking at the list of threads there's a little summary under each thread title and that summary is the OP. Pointless.

I'll have to do more messing.

It's light years ahead of Safari and for that it's worth every penny.

Find it a dream to browse the forum on my touch now, the only issue I have is having to manually refresh the forum to see new posts but apart from that I can't see anything wrong with it.

I've been getting that since last night.
"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

This is working again now.

Actually had to ask the developers of the application to come and sort it out, but it's fixed. Sorry about the delay.

It's already been superseded. Fine to update now, it'll be straight to that one.

Tapatalk is s***. A great idea ruined by deeply crappy software.

Wish someone who knows how to program would bring out a competing solution.

I don't see how they could better it  :undecided: It does exactly what it's supposed to on my touch.

Must admit I use it on the iPhone and find it excellent.

I just think the UI is s***. Very badly designed. It kinda does everything you want it to, but it doesn't make it as easy as it should be.

A well-written app *easily* beats a web browser as an interface.

For example, I tend to grab my iPad and use Alien Blue instead of going to reddit.com, even when I'm sat at my desktop machine. I would never use Tapatalk if I could open a forum site in my desktop browser.

Tapatalk is a complete mess.

Well the only alternative is Safari on my touch and it isn't even a contest between the two. Safari is slow and just awful to use.

A desktop browser is always going to be better, but then if I'm sitting at my PC I wont bother with my touch at all.

Oh sure, Tapatalk is better than a browser on a phone/tablet for large forum pages, but it should be soooo much better than it is.

So under the thread titles, is there a way to get rid of the OP sneak peeks?

Is there a way to always go to the last page of a thread, like a gesture I'm unaware of? Tried marking threads as read, but I sometimes have to enter a thread, back out then go back in to go to the last page.
