NOFC POTY - Votes please.
« on: Tuesday 20 July 2010, 08:53:00 PM »
Please place your vote for who you think should be NOFC's player of the year.

Eligible: Anyone who has played 2 games for NOFC during 2009/10.

NOFC vs NUSSC FC XI
NOFC vs Peterborough United ST
NOFC vs PNE A
NOFC vs Barnsley
NOFC vs Kidderminster Harriers ST
NOFC vs Whitby Wanderers
NOFC vs PNE A

If a name is missing from the list, please post in the thread and which matches that person played in.

The voting closes on July 24th (WorldNet) and the top 3 players will be balloted.
Eligibility to vote in the ballot: 1 NOFC game (supporters included). Please make yourself known if you fall into this category and wish to vote.
They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

I don't know everyone's name?
It was done in a rush?
No real reason?

I'm finding this difficult given that we've been handed a dicking all season. I'll probably just vote for me.

Went with NSG. Some admirable performances both between the sticks and has come up with a few goals too. Honourable mention to KenDahl but the lad needs more goals.

If the OP wasn't clear, I'll forward the names of the top 3 players from this vote (open to all on N-O) to those people on the list (plus anyone who has been to see NOFC play this season x 2 - i.e. Jill, LLLO).

PS: Who voted Nixon?  :aww:

Why not? He played one game played well and scored a very good goal, not bad for a 17 year old debutant.

He's only played 1 if I remember right? 2 if you count Saturday.

There's lots of obvious people to vote for. But I think for a lad who's the youngest player on the team he's made a good start.

Who's vote we discussing next?

Eh, I'm sure you're wrong. If he's only played 1 game then he doesn't qualify for the list.
