I've got both bargains too;)

Only Mackem i opted for was Henderson as a wild card

I really try my hardest not to pick any Sunderland players but for the money i had left Bent was the best option. However it means as soon as ive seen the mackems score aswell as thinking s*** i also think i wonder if bent has scored, which i dont like

I had that feeling all last season when sunlun scored knowing it would be bent and thinking of the mackems saying how wonderful he was. Very annoying

Tbf though, he is. His quality is massively disproportionate to that team.

I'm in. Haven't got a single Newcastle player in though, but I'm sure I'll have a quick team change before the season starts (Ben Arfa ;))

You must have half the budget left if you only bought that shower of pish.
I'd rather live in Sunderland, in fact I'd rather be a mackem full stop

I've joined the Texaco Championship one as well. Really difficult having to leave out Maynard, Sharp, Whittingham etc.

                                 Weale
McNaughton     Nyatanga    Bikey     Gunter
Majewski       Sigurdsson   Cairney   Thomson
                           Boyd      Wickham

....will pick a Premier League one closer to the time.

Wickham's going to miss the first 6 weeks of the season.
Sir John Hall: "I was told that the man behind the deal was Mike Ashley and I sat with his representatives over three days thrashing out a deal. I was keen to know why they wanted the club and they were quite honest. They wanted to market their sports goods in the Far East and would use the club to help do this."
