Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal: "From impending tragedy to near-triumph via the most improbable route possible - 95 minutes that neatly encapsulate 130 years of football on this particular piece of grass. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated."

Sir Bobby Robson - What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

Before that why didn't the Wigan fans just walk the the Stewart's, the Stewart's only went up to the touchline, their was a big gap between the end of the Stewart's and the stand they could have walked through.

hey you sit at that end, how far wide was his 30yder ?
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.

Was bollocks for over a year, but for £1m or however much, has to be said he's proven to be a solid perchase.

Didn't he mostly play in midfield for Nottingham Forest anyway? Pretty sure he played usually DMC but filled in for defence when needed for them.

Anyways, doing a decent job for us in recent games

Far less of a liability at CM than CB. Nothing flash by any stretch of the imagination but did ok against Villa.

I'd rather play him than someone like Smith. Couldn't trust him for more than the odd match or 2 like...
The club comes first.

Like Raylor he seems a really good pro, so it's good to see both of them making positive contributions to the cause.
"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009
