New album this year?
...Consider that In Rainbows was meant to complement OK Computer, musically, lyrically, and in structure. We found that the two albums can be knit together beautifully. By combining the tracks to form one playlist, 01 and 10, we have a remarkable listening experience. The transitions between the songs are astounding, and it appears that this was done purposefully. The lyrics also seem to complement each other. There appears to be a concept flowing through the 01 and 10 playlist. Ideas in one song is picked up by the next, such as “Pull me out of the aircrash,” and “When I’m at the pearly gates, this will be my videotape.” ...
That's exactly what I posted on how I listen to them.It completely blows away the myth that they're worse than the 90s.Best band bar none IMHO.

Still, they could have sat on their laurels and made 10 more OK Computers and probably had an easier life and made even more money.Kid A and In Rainbows are excellent. I liked Amnesiac and HTTT when they came out, but haven't listened to either in a while. That Jaydiohead stuff just re-affirmed my love for them tbh, one of the first bands to get me into some decent music when I was younger.
Almost as crap as Coldplay.
Elbow are so f***ing superior to Coldplay.
I hate that song by Elbow, can't think of the name. Something about "one day like this a year" boils my p*ss every time I hear it.
