Just appealed to the club again for kits.Never going to happen, but f*** it, I was bored.Hello, My name is John Watson, I am club captain and co-founder of Newcastle-Online Football Club. Our club competes in the IFA ( Internet football association).http://www.internetfootball.org.uk/The league is made up of a total of 78 clubs, all competing, whenever we can, against each other.NOFC has only been in operation for around four months now,and it that time we've hosted our own home games against Peterborough and most recently against Preston North End.The league is taken very seriously, and although it is all in the aid of creating bonds with fellow clubs, we are trying to establish NOFC as a top team, like our professional counterparts. The main objective of my contact is to ask if Newcastle United FC could spare any kit for our team to wear. The majority of clubs in the IFA have their kit donated by their hometown clubs, and we're appealing if our club could do the same. Any size or quality would be beneficial as at the minute we're all wearing new and old NUFC kits which takes the edge of our club.Match worn, old and unused shirts and shorts would be a great help and would be much appreciated by everyone. Here is a write up of our recent game on the official PNE website.http://www.pnefc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10362~1973320,00.htmlI would be very grateful for a reply, regardless of the outcome, Yours sincerely, John Watson
They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

Would be good PR. Out of interest, who/which address did you send it to?Just to the contact address on nufc.co.uk, if anyone has a better email I can send it to, please tell me!I've emailed the chronicle and Lee Ryder to see if they can pass our requests on.i can twitter caulkin and simon bird, i've had a few response's from Mr Caulkin on NUFC matters?Alright chaps, all efforts to get this publicised and hopefully some sort of link with the club, no matter how tenuous, are appreciated. However, just so that we don't come across as a group of lads trying to score some free kit off the club (or a bunch of disorganised supporters sending out mixed messages [/NUST]), can you leave a message in here once you've contacted the club/media/member of staff/etc just so that we're not sending differing signals. It would be good to get some publicity and some more fans involved, particularly away supporters as P'boro would like to play us on April 3rd.

am i following you on twitter?? what's your handle?Edit: Stalked You. Mwahhahahahahahahahahaha.
Set one up if you like, post the links in the PR/Media thread so people can join.
Why don't we branch it out to a supporters team? I mean NOFC seems very niche, we should open it up to all fans, it could help us gain more support.
The whole point of the name was that it was started on here. Call me sad but I am proud of that. Lots of supporter teams have unique names. Also, surely NUFC is a registered trademark.Edit - oh, are you just on about the Facebook stuff?
