Sloths haven't got much in the way of a defence against predators, have they?

When you see them bundled up against a naked woman, I do get jealous.

The woman. Holding a hairy little sloth, with its greasy looking hair, it must do wonders for the breasts.

Nope, zero.

I was once watching NG channel on sky, it was in some jungle someplace and was following the daily lives of various animals.

Cuts to a sloth just minding its own business, next thing the camera quickly turns and follows a panther (or a big cat) run up the same tree as the Sloth.  The panther grabs the sloth and just runs off with it in its mouth. f*** all the sloth could do.  Felt really sorry for it.

You can imagine the sloth being really philosophical about it and just thinking "Ah well, s*** happens."

Aye, you couldn't imagine a sloth getting worked up over anything.

There was an amazing Sloth rescue in Go Diego, Go today. The mummy and baby sloth got stuck in a tree with a terrible mudslide heading there way. Fortunately 8 year old Animal Rescuer Diego was there with his friend, Sammy the three toed Sloth, and they managed to save them from a horrific disaster. Emotional stuff.

I thought the only predators sloths have are sexual predators in the form of hot naked chicks.

akky stalking a sloth.......theres something to wonder over ?
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.
