The way things work over here seems to be this.

If a show has more than two black people, it's a black show. No one watches.

Remember, The Wire was canceled.

That's pretty much the opposite of the way my mind works I reckon. The only thing that sets apart The Wire from The Sopranos is that I think I sort of prefer watching black people tbh.   Not sure why like.

 I was incredulous that people I know were fawning all over the Sopranos, but as soon as I mention The Wire, they would be like "I don't like gangster shows."

:kasper:

There's an Oz thread on here somewhere. I'm fairly sure that's the only way I had heard of it.

So, OZ. Lots of men kissing, loads of rape.

Excellent show.

 Talking about it makes me want to watch it again.

It'll be interesting for you, since you saw Wire first. Loads of familiar faces.

Really looking forward to it now.

(No, not the men kissing and raping each other before you start GM).

You see Lost? I lost my god damn mind when Adebisi showed up on Lost as a man of God.

We still make references to Adebisi raping that guy with the headphones on.

 I watched the first few series' of Lost, then me and Interpolic got so frustrated with it we couldn't go back. Most ridiculously annoying show ever. Loved it at first though.

Love The Wire, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad.

Any idea what else I might like?

Cheers.

Have you watched The Corner yet?

As people have already mentioned, you can't go wrong with Oz. Amazing show.

Just bought, read and very much enjoyed Batman: The Long Halloween.

Can anyone recommend any other graphic novels featuring old batpants?
