There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

How long would it take to get from the Main station to the venue for the game, and how would I go about doing it?? Without forking out for a cab, as that would defeat the object of getting the train up as it's a bit cheaper than the petrol if I drive up.

Travel details are in the OP (metro & walk = £2/45mins~, bus = £2/20mins~, taxi = £7/10mins~). Co-ordinate with any other players who are coming up on trains (Nixon, Yorkie, etc) to make it easier/cheaper.

Alternatively, ask politely for a lift from someone with a car.

Probably easier to speak with the likes of Yorkie & Nixon and go with their travel plans.

YES YES YES YES YES.

After literally weeks of giving the wife a hard time (and a good time) she's caved in. I'm coming to the toon next Saturday. It looks like we have a good few players available but I'm definitely IN for this one.

I'll play anywhere that I'm needed and have played every position on the park at some point. Probably best at CB but anywhere will do for me in a black and white shirt.

I'll be at Newcastle Central Station by about 8am so if anybody (Kezman, Yorkie, Whoever) is going via the station then I'd be grateful if I could tag along.

GET IN!!!!! HWTL!!!!!
