The missus decides to lock the cat flap without me knowing if it's wet, cold, windy out.  I get woken up to the sound of Tino trying to punch through it to get out, sake.
Yeah just give me half a bottle of Blue Nun.

Beautiful ears  :aww:, i'm betting she purrs like a motorboat when they get rubbed.
If we get him (Aly Cissokho) and Cisse i might consider walking to SJP and wanking on Ashley's picture in public

One of the cats got his paw stuck in the cat flap last night. Screams were horrible like.

One of mine got her claw caught as she got off the radiator, she ended up hanging there by it, the noise was unbelievable, always sticks out now, she either gets it stuck in the carpet or you know where she is as it taps on wooden floor in the hallway as she walks along.

"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

One of our cats is the size of a medium dog, he's a fussy pedigrie Maine Coon, and he goes for walks with us to the park, well til a dog comes then he runs away!

Not feeling to good. Just got a call from mom that our cat Pusur died today from cancer. Saw him two weeks ago, and he seemed just fine. Last couple of days hes been extremely lazy, not eaten. Mom got him to the vet, re-hydrated his body, but he was still lazy and didn´t eat. Took him back to the vet where they found out he had cancer in his liver, and that it had spread to his lungs, so he had to be put away. He was so dehydrated that they had problems extracting blood from him. He was so out of it he didn´t even need sedatives, which is unlike him, as he has always been afraid of other people besides my mom, stepdad and myself. Poor guy  :weep:

He is the weirdest cat I have ever encountered, which is both down to him and how my mom treated him. He literally had his own room in our house where he created several beds so he could change it up if he felt we bothered him to much while sleeping in one place. He never sat next to/on us or got petted unless he approached us. So much character and hilarious considering how shy he was.

RIP - best. cat. ever. Doubt I´ll ever get one for myself. He got 15 years of luxury, and lived like he wanted to, which is a comfort today.

Sorry to hear it, man. They become part of the family. It's always a choker when it's their time, my missus is a proper cat lady and we've always had 3-7, but they're all individuals and I fill up a bit when the decision has to be made.  :(

Mom sounded absolutely devastated on on the phone  :(

There really was no decision to be made. He would probably not lasted the night and endured pain each second for the remaining hours of his life.

Sorry to hear it Conjo. My dog passed away in September and I was devastated for weeks and even months. It takes time to come to terms with it and accept it. People who have not had animals dont know the feeling and what role they play in a family, after all if I got it right  he got 15 years with you and your family and it must have been a fantastic time. Domestic animals become a part of your life and you get so attached to them you consider them a real part of your family, and although you know they wont live for as long as us you never think about it and when the day comes you feel hit by a bus and like a complete wreck  I feel for you and hope you and your family go through this process well and think back to the good times with him.

Too true. They're there in your everyday life, hence they become a big part of your life. Winds me up something rotten when I hear "eh? it's only a dog/cat."

I was obviously gutted when our dog had to be put down a couple of years ago but you have to take heart from the fact you gave them a good life and the such and think of the good times. Sorry to hear the time has come, Conjo.
Got a vibrtating love egg stuck in wor lass last night. The string snapped to get it out. It was remote control so I kept turning it on, then i realised she was nearly crying. Had to fish it out. Never mind.

I looked the devil in the eye, went home and jerked off. That's standard procedure.

Sorry to hear that Conjo, but as others have said, at least you can smile about the fact you gave him a really good life. :)

Thanks for the kind words. Don´t think I will fully comprehend this before I come home to visit mom, and he isn´t there rumbling around, sleeping in our places, nagging for food acting  like he haven´t been fed for a solid month ( ). I honestly thought he´d last longer due to being so shy, thus avoiding getting hit by cars, taken by big birds etc. I´ve seen him being scared by a bumblebee once for crying out loud.

Still, he had an awesome life thanks to mom. He had a bad start in life. He was a result of incest. His first two months on this earth, he was living together with his mother, brother/father while the owner was working offshore, so there were no people around him. The owner tried to give him away when he came home, but nobody wanted him so he put in an ad in the local paper that the vet was coming in two days unless someone took him. When we got him, he was so scared of us he peed himself, and it took a long time before he got comfortable around us.

15 years later, he has had access to indoor and outdoors at his own will 24/7 every single day, one miao away from fresh fish, all the attention he craved whenever he wanted it. He was extremely attached to mom, so I feel very sad on her behalf as well.

My condolonces, Conjo. He sounds a bit like our cat - big, fat, ginger and timid. He was born with a heart murmur, was the runt of the litter and got picked on terribly by his brothers. I think they got p*ssed off cos we clearly liked him the best! He pretty much just stayed at home, although every now and then he would go out 'hunting' and bring back something like an elastic band or a glove. In the end he died of thyroid problems when he was 13. I don't think I've ever been as upset and I still get a little bit teary-eyed thinking of him now, 4 years after his death.

Some people don't really get how a pet's death can have such an effect on you but it really is like a family member dying.

Mine are only young, but not sure what I'll be like when they die, they get treated like kids in my house.  Tino waits at the door for me to get home and Tilly waits for me every morning when I get up.

They really do become a massive part of your everyday life, sad story mate.

RIP Pusur  :(

Haven't seen my neighbours cat for a while, about 6 weeks now, either doesn't like the cold weather or something has happened to it, daren't ask. Their other cat is about, poor thing looks lost without her brother.

Had to put my one in the box to take to the vet earlier, makes me feel so mean   Just squirms and runs away with a look on his face like "But I thought you loved meeee, whyyyyy?"

Turns out he's got to have two teeth out because he's got cavities in them :(  Hope the pet insurance covers it or it's going to be like 300 quid.

EDIT: Bollocks, insurance won't cover dental work unless it's a result of an accident.
