7 ages of rock. second "age" to be exact.

That was an excellent series - was that the punk one or the NWOBHM one?

I used to like The Office, but after watching every episode of the American version I find the UK one unwatchable. Its just not in the same league.

Agreed. The American one is absolutely brilliant. Still think the UK one is good though.

I'm a massive fan of the American one but the English one's just as good, they're very different imo.  It's easier to prefer the American one because there's so much more of it.

 Dwight really makes the US version.

Playing the desert island game:

Phyllis: Um, the Da Vinci Code.
Angela: The Da Vinci Code. I would take the Da Vinci Code. So I could burn the Da Vinci Code.
Dwight: Okay, great, that’s gonna keep you warm for like, seven seconds. Question: is there firewood on the island?
Jim: I guess?
Dwight: Then I would bring an ax, no books.
Jim: No, it has to be a book, Dwight.
Dwight: Fine. Physician’s Desk Reference.
Jim: Nice. Smart.
Dwight: Hollowed out. Inside, waterproof matches, iodine tablets, beet seeds, protein bars, NASA blanket, and … in case I get bored, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. No, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Question: did my shoes come off in the plane crash?

Watching the American Office on Paramount now, good timing. Might put Curb Your Enthusiasm on though.

Greece Uncovered on Sky 2.

I remember watching these shows about 10 years ago, it's so funny watching them again now and seeing how embarrassing the 90s were.

Isn't it funny how everything seems to normal in an 'era' then all of a sudden 10 years later it seems ridiculous and 20 years later it seems liek a completely different universe.

CSI: NY. Not a bad show, not much depth though as they wrap everything up in one episode. Oh, look a clue! Oh and another one! And look some blood under the victim's fingernails, handy!

I know what you mean, I used to absolutely love the UK one but having watched the US one, it seems crap in comparison. The US one is f***ing hilarious.  bluelaugh.gif

It's worth watching anyway. Does get a lot better though in later series.
