The bloke who says everything plural cracks me up so much. Im trying to remember the one thing he says where its just a massive long sentence of plurals and then he stops and says 'woahses'

Was just on - 'Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles'.

'Theres, the Worldses drinkings waters is safes for anothers days'

Stop eating popplers! Stop eating them with honey mustard sauce! Stop eating the new Fiesta Poppler Salad! Stop taking advantage of the money saving 12 pack!

So, to exact revenge for our people, we will place our order of 600 billion humans. And a small fries. Oh alright, cottage cheese.

Then later on Zap Brannigan says: "We need to impregnate almost every woman in the universe to get that amount of humans... I'll lead from the front and do my part"

"We're going to need an army of super-virile man scoring round the clock. Kif... clear my schedule." (Kif shakes an Etch-a-Sketch)

Just watched that episode, probably my favourite one ever.

Leela: "Yeah, that might just work. They seem to have trouble distinguishing one human from another."

Zap: "Exactly... in the negotiations, they thought that Kif was the negotiator and that I was just some babbling mental patient, isn't that right Kif?"

Can't remember the episode, but favourite moment coming to mind is the bit where Bender has his feet up, when an arm comes out of his chest, opens a beer and then pours it a couple of millimetres away from his mouth prompting, "aaahh, what is this?  The middle ages?".

Haven't watched Futurama for ages, but it's my favourite cartoon by a million miles :)

When Bender scares the hell out of that guy coming out of the cryogenic chamber so he has a heart attack, so he puts him back in.

Bender: "Don't worry I'm sure they'll have a cure for heart attacks in 1000 years"
Tech: "We have a cure for it now!"

I just like the way futurama runs small gags throughout several scenes so well, like when bender goes to the bot planet and fry says that its uninhabited, bender says its inhabited by robots with frys reply being 'like warehouses are inhabited like boxes?'

A bit later on leela says 'bender seems pretty p*ssed' with fry saying 'I'd be angry too if I had to go to some uninhabited planet'. They're just simple gags but they make the series what it is.

COMMENTATOR: There they go, and Barbados Slim takes an early lead. God I hope he wins.  What's this? Hermes Conrad is closing the gap. He's limboed out of retirement and straight into my heart. I say go to hell Barbados Slim!

Later

COMMENTATOR: And Conrad is disqualified! Barbados Slim, my hero, takes the gold!

Then when I stopped laughing...

BENDER: Well enough about Hermes, I couldn't win a medal either. Even at bending - the thing I was built to do. I'm so embarassed. I wish everybody else was dead.

Then Calculon...

HUMORBOT 5.0
So Calculon, do you want to set up this
                         clip from All My Circuits?

                                     CALCULON
                         No I think it's self-explanatory.

[A screen comes up behind them and they turn to face it. On the
screen a pirate barbecues some stuff and Calculon gives a dramatic
               performance of 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'.]

                                     CALCULON
Funny story, the script called for me
to say "yes" but I gave it a little
                         twist.

The strange obession that they had with owls - the owl caught in the spider web in Fry's room, and the owls coming out the mouse hole (owl hole) in the episode where Bender goes bending crazy.

Calculon f***ing rules.

I must say though, when I first saw this show I was astounded by its sheer brazen lifting of the entire concept behind Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

But you only have to watch one episode in its entirety to realise how original and funny it actually is.

I thought it was clever the way they just made out that owls were essentially the pigeons of our time.
