Matches for this season:

13th Aug home vs Arsenal Manchester - confirmed
27th Aug home rematch vs F365 lads - waiting to hear back from them
17th Sep away vs Kidderminster Harriers - have been offered by their lads (NUFC @ Villa), any interest?
1st Oct away vs Midlands team (Wolves away)
22nd Oct home match - looking for visitors
19th Nov away vs Bury (Citeh away)
26th Nov away vs Man Utd Supporters ()
10th Dec away vs Ipswich?
2nd Jan home vs Man Utd Supporters (Bank Holiday)

The fixture list for NUFC hasn't been particularly IFA friendly, couple of 'banker' home matches are midweek/Xmas matches :(

The IFA Cup is due to start sometime soon. Do we want to go regional (N/East, Yorkshire) or random again?

Personally, the IFA Cup was a hassle when we had to travel to Motherwell.  NE/Yorkshire sounds good though.

Gutted Stoke is on Monday night, would have liked a return fixture against them.

Wouldn't mind playing Tranmere again - last day of the season?

Yeah, the trip to Motherwell wasn't ideal but that was partly down to the horrendous weather and time constraints (we were originally supposed to go for an overnight trip at the beginning of December..!).

I think Scotland away was a tad unfortunate for our first go, it's 50/50 whether or not we get a home draw (which is the main attraction for playing in the cup).

Bury are going to try and bring both of their teams up on different weekends, but we might have to wait until the new year for that (their match away to Hartlepool is the same day as our trip to Villa).

Was pretty disappointed about the Stoke match too, last season's match was terrific! Hopefully we'll be able to get some sort of match arranged for the NW weekends. Altho QBG will no longer be in Liverpool :(
They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

Will be at nearly all the home games this season so as long as there is enough notice to book the early trains then count me in for them all. Not sure how many away games I will make as I've committed all my football spends to going to the home matches. I'm sure I'll make one or two though.

I'll be available for most home games and potentially an away game.

Bumped into the Rearguard's (Tranmere) captain tonight.

He's definitely up for another match, but the only times we're in Liverpool or close by are:

Liverpool - Dec 30th
Wigan - April 28th
Everton - May 13th

Any away matches in mind, Stu?

Another match vs WBA at their place?

Would be great if we could get numbers.

How many people are thinking of going down to WBA?

That's not helping to answer the question :undecided:

Any interest?
