They were pushing the Kevin cut-and-shut stuff as the reason they'd nab Phil, that actually had some proper evidence.  I think the whole idea of the Stella stuff coming back is just showing us how determined Marsden is to nab Phil.

This is almost certainly the reason they recast the part, btw. Part of me thinks they've wanted to turn Ben into a psycho child pretty much since the Stella stuff all them years back. They had the old Ben burning Louise with a hot spoon, and then after the recast there was him attacking Glenda and that thing where he made up a fake online persona to fool Heather.

The whole thing feels a bit pointless. Phil might as well be made of Teflon, he always gets away with everything and it's quite obvious that he'll get off scot-free or do a minor jail term this time around.

Also, when someone asked Alfie earlier whether he knew what he was doing he said "Of course I do, I'm Alfie Moon, in' I?" followed up with his trademark gimp smile.  Who the f*** talks like that in real life?  Actor, character and writing for Alfie are all appalling, he's a f***ing joke.

Second also, why the f*** is that bamp Whitney such a catch?  Especially with the lovely Lauren knocking about.

I hate it when there's a serious/normal scene between some other characters and he interrupts it by entering and going 'Wahey, alright sweetheart. Hahaha.' and being a knob as usual.

Also, in what pub would the barman be able to ring the bell and shout 'attention ladies and gentlemen! we have an announcement blah blah blah, haha, wahey!' and have everyone (including the jukebox) shut up to listen to it?
