Italians at it again,(stabbing in Rome).
« on: Thursday 12 March 2009, 07:13:10 PM »
How many times have fans of British clubs been stabbed by Romans now? It happens almost everytime a British club go over there. Absolutely nothing is done about it either. There's outcry at the very hint of disorder by fans from this country, but it seems it doesn't work both ways.

"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

There's more stabbings than you think too. Joaquin Phoenix goes around stabbing people and then putting the armor back on to cover it up so no one knows.

Be interesting if it were Man United (had plenty of bother with the Roma lot) and Chelsea (bunch of c***s) again.

They should have the final stripped from them aswell as any possible champions league/european football next season.
They need to learn!

I came into this thread concerned to see what had happened in Rome

Reading through what this thread seems to have descended into, I presume no one was really hurt out there?
Here for all the wrong reasons

A Man U/Liverpool or Chelsea final would see them get their comeuppance.

Wonder if the final will still be held there.

I would imagine so.  After seeing what kicked off there in the stadium at half-time during the derby in November (what happened outside the stadium beforehand was even worse) i'd say it's gonna take somebody to be killed for UEFA to strip them of the final.  I've never seen violence like it at a football match.
I'm bored of Hampden anyway

A lot of fans who get stabbed are looking for trouble. There are some fairly notorious areas in Rome where Ultras meet up and fans are told in no uncertain terms not to venture there. Unfortunately this just gives the hard nuts ideas and they go down there and get shivved. Own fault really.
"Following media reports this morning the chairman wishes to make it clear that Alan Shearer has never said to him that he would knock seven bells out of anyone."
