Fifth set rope-a-dope. Awesome.

That was the best tennis I've seen Nadal play, he's improved so much. He was playing a very tired Djokovic, mind you.

The Aussies have to sort out the men's semi-final being on different days. Stupidity.

Djokovic is the character I prefer of the top players like.

Aye same.

wanted Rafa to win but both deserve a trophy on that showing - incroyable

2 5 set wins in under 72 hours.  Incredible.

Must've been on court 11-12 hours of that time too. Ridiculous.

Gluten free diet apparently key to his fitness.

I'm not going to say I watch every tournament but I like to keep up to date and certainly watch the Grand Slams, and consistently Djokovic, as a personality, I'm a fan of. Federer seems to have a degree of arrogance about him, Murray is stereotypically dour and Nadal, well, just not keen on Nada.
Got a vibrtating love egg stuck in wor lass last night. The string snapped to get it out. It was remote control so I kept turning it on, then i realised she was nearly crying. Had to fish it out. Never mind.

I looked the devil in the eye, went home and jerked off. That's standard procedure.

Same at US Open.  Ridiculous though.

I have to say, do the men deserve higher pay than the women   Novak must have played almost as much tennis in the last 72 hours than some women GS winners.

Where's Ali?

Here.

Rafa completely threw that away, never seen a miss like that.

Which miss are you talking about?

Djokovic threw the match away so many times but Rafa never stepped up and smashed him off the court. He kept slicing it back, playing his defensive style of tennis and rightly got crushed in the end by some superb hitting by Novak.

You know what miss I'm talking about.

4-2, 30-15, easiest backhand in history.

Fantastic game.

Agree that miss was the turning point in the 5th set, should have put it away easily. Wouldn't say Nadal threw the game away though, several times he looked dead and buried and fought his way back into it.

I don't know what I'd rather see: Novak beating Rafa at the French, or Federer being the one to take Novak down at the French.

I think both Federer and Nadal fans will want them on opposite sides of the draw, though. It's their best chance of winning.

Classy as hell by Rafa in the speech. Major respect for keeping it together and actually making a joke.

Enthralling and superb to watch but I stand by my shout that the standard wasn't that high.

Both of these players have produced a far greater level, especially NoDjo who was disappointing.
