Glad he's turned it down, would have inevitably led to him being appointed when JFK leaves and IMO promotion from within rarely works.

Did he f***, it wasn't even a job offer. It was a sideswipe at him from Kinnear basically saying "if you want the job Al, come and lend a hand"
