I expect this to be my own personal connection problem but when trying to reply to a message, I was greeted with : (never had this before)

Egyptian Diary of Gustave Flaubert, 1849:
"Stupidity is an immovable object: you can't try to attack it without being broken by it. In Alexandria, a certain Thompson, of Sunderland, has inscribed his name in letters six feet high on Pompey's Pillar. You can read it from a quarter of a mile away. You can't see the pillar without seeing Thompson's name. This cretin has become part of the monument, in fact, he has overwhelmed it with his gigantic lettering... All imbeciles are more or less Thompsons from Sunderland. How many of them one comes across in life, spoiling the most beautiful places, blocking the finest views!"

Aye, I'm having the odd difficulty.
For example, there's this text: "The N-O Heavyweight Championship: NE5 Vs. The WORLD Thread" that keeps appearing at the top of the forum.

Homepage fine for everyone now? Should be porno-free and look a bit cleaner than previously (as far as the sidebar goes in particular.)

The forum or the website itself? The website was still a bit topsy-turvy this morning but should be alright now. The forum shouldn't have been affected at all. Anyone else have issues?

Sometimes it's like that, aye. Like the menu is seethrough and you see the rolling news text behind it. But other times it just won't click - i.e. acts like there's no hyperlink embedded in the text. Probably both Firefox issues I suspect.

Yep, it's just a Firefox thing unfortunately, and it's always been that way. It seems to struggle with the concept of static links in front of a changing background.

OK. See we did crash. It was on this crazy island. And we waited for rescue, and there wasn't any rescue. And then there was a smoke monster. And there were other people on the island. We called them "The Others". And they started attacking us. And we found some hatches. And there was a button you had to press every 108 minutes, or...well, I was never really clear on that. But, The Others didn't have anything to do with the hatches. That was the Dharma Initiative. They were all dead. The Others killed them. And now they're trying to kill us. And then we teamed up with The Others because some worse people were coming on a freighter. Desmond's girlfriend's father sent them to kill us. So we stole their helicopter and we flew it to the freighter, but it blew up. And we couldn't go back to the island because it disappeared. - Hugo "Hurley" Reyes explains events to someone who has never watched Lost.

(LeazesMag aka NE5, 24th November 2008) I will never agree with you that one man picked the managers, you have to put this in to demean Shepherd, you just can't help yourself can you, even though it defies all logic that any half sensible person would think this. Its even backed up by the comments by Hall Jnr about the club being relegated if Bobby Robson was still manager. Nonsensical comment it may be, but it is telling you that that decision wasn't down to one man however much you might want to convince yourself that it was. Can you provide a link that says Shepherd decided all this on his own to back up your "opinion" ? Can you bollocks Sir John Hall aka Major Shareholder "The problems in the dressing room seemed to continue through into the season and I can understand Freddy Shepherd, the chairman's decision. "It was the right decision, to my mind, and I'm standing by him." http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,57178.msg1578185.html#msg1578185
