Hope there is another power cut. Edwards is shitting the bed.
Battle of the incompetents so far.

Picking up atm, still that start was abysmal.

Oh, and up yours without lube dan b!!  :celb: :celb:

:(

Completely undeserved.

What, the win or the unlubed bumming?

Exciting game in Buffalo, pretty much the end of the Bills for the year though after that missed FG.

Marshawn Lynch is an animal though, and despite sucking last night Edwards is a very good young QB. A good young team but seems it's a year too soon for them.

Apparently Dallas have started fining the offensive line players for "mental errors".  I would love to see Newcastle try that.

That's ridiculous.

Second INT was semi on Romo as well tbh, bad throw that was behind his receiver. Obviously unlucky to get picked but still a poor throw. He did it late in the game though, which is when it matters and against a good D to boot so fair play to him.

Midds completely blighted the Bears on Saturday btw. Was on to me about how the Bears haven't been beaten comfortbaly at all this year, that they can keep any game competitive. Unlucky.

Not content with jinxing NUFC by your presence, you then use your evil magic to f*** with the Bears too!!
The club comes first.

Just picture it.

You're a young NFL QB, playing one of your first games in the league. You've got 70,000 people screaming their heads off, itching to see you get drilled into the ground. You're desperately trying to read the opposing defense while at the same time go through the snap count.

And no more than a yard away from you you've got this guy coming at you, with only an offensive lineman to give you any protection.

I don't know it just seems like the NFL is full of horrible horrible people. I mean it's insane how many of them get arrested for assault. I'm actually pretty good at gridiron, but who would sign up for a sport where people try to injure each other for no reason? I will never understand the mentality of an NFL player, or even a rugby player for that matter.

And this is the most insane NFL moment that's been shown to me.

What?!...and he still plays? f*** that.

Bit unfair to generalise tbh, I'd imagine most of them play for love of the game. It's a very physical sport, as is rugby, and that's the risk you put yourself at. Can completely understand that mentality and even some of the more cynical things you see them doing in the course of play.

Of course, there's no excuse for what you see there, that's absolutely cynical and occurs after the play too.

Best player in the NFL and everything, Haynesworth.

Free Agent this off-season, likely to get a deal worth about 10 million per year. Isn't life fair? :(

Detestable thing to do, could have blinded Gurode had it been a few inches difference in the stomp. Horrible scumbag of a player.

That said, I'd love to have him in Denver.

This guy Thigpen looks like he might have some potential for Kansas.

Jets are looking pretty good these last few weeks, a win against Tennessee would really turn some heads.

McNabb benched at half-time for Eagles. Good. I may begin to like the Eagles.

Broncos have decided to be in make stupid mistakes mode again today.

They've run the same play 3 times.

4 Yard Loss
Fumble
2 Yard Loss

Maybe it's just a s**** play guys?

is that yancey ex of piitsburgh.

no "go steelers" tonight fellas, they went on thursday.
Bullshitters misrepresent themselves to their audience not as liars do, that is, by deliberately making false claims about what is true. In fact, bullshit need not be untrue at all.

Rather, bullshitters seek to convey a certain impression of themselves without being concerned about whether anything at all is true. They quietly change the rules governing their end of the conversation so that claims about truth and falsity are irrelevant.

The Jets ARE looking good, which makes the OT loss against them last week all the harder to take, they've got a good chance of winning the division now...unless Favre starts feeling the pressure when it counts.

Another good offensive performance today by King (of the) Cassell - first QB in franchise history to throw for 400+ yards in consecutive games  :smitten: :smitten:

Now everyone will be talking about him getting signed in Free Agency...for some reason I just can't see him leaving, after spending such a long time being slowly worked into the Belichick system (and you can see this season why we've kept going with him and how he's been allowed to do a little more each week). Plus, it'd be somewhat foolish not to keep what appears to be an equally as impressive QB when the franchise QB is coming back from a serious injury. Will he even be the same player?

They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

Woah! dont get carried away there Cowboy!

Cassell is doing well but as soon as super Tom is fit and ready he will be back in the team no question.  Its Tom f***ing Brady man!!

Even a 80% Brady is instantly back in the team.

Its interesting though, If I was Cassell, I'd be wanting to play and make the big bucks so I'd be off out of New England.
Of course. I've been grooming Pedro for ages just to get a crack at that starfish.

So Tom Brady then...

System QB?  :shifty:

My christ the Broncos sucked today.

Honestly, they have to be the strangest team in the league. Went in to Atlanta and handed the Falcons their first loss at home all season last week, then this week get blown out at home by the Raiders. Raiders have had 1 incomplete pass all game so far, 4 minutes to play.

Funny thing is they blitzed Ryan a lot last week and had good success with it, forcing a turrnover and keeping him out of the endzone. So naturally this week they refuse to blitz against Russell, probably the worst QB in the league at picking up blitzes. Unbelievable stuff, I'd love to sit down with Shanahan and our D Co-ordinator and just ask them what exactly they were hoping to achieve with their gameplan, if anything.

Cassell is f***ing gone. Don't even think he's going back to clip board duty. The NFL never runs out of shitty teams willing to overpay for a guy that looked good for a year. Detroit will park a dump truck full of cash in front of him in the offseason.

So Tom Brady then...

Matt Cassell will get a nice payday somewhere and will play s*** and get benched after one year of starting elsewhere.

That's my guess anyway.

It was coming. So bitter, Shak. So bitter.

6-5 baby! Good performance today. Need to win a couple in a row so that we're in the mix for the wildcard and not have to depend on winning the division 'cos the Packers have an easy finish.
