"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

I got some charva asking me for change for the phone the other day near my house. f*** knows where he was going to ring from cos I've never seen a phone box anywhere down my way.
Jeff's Garage - Cheaper than some other garages.

Wtf.

No denial then

It probably was me yesterday tbf, I don't really remember these things as that's what crack cocaine does to you, but I need to feed the habit somehow. I was in town yesterday though so it was a possibility, the three weeks before however couldn't have been me, might have been the stunt double I pay though to do it for me when some days I just can't be arsed.

Ah, stunt doubles.  That would explain the excessive number of adidas jackets you have to buy.

I used to live on Diana Street just up from SJP. about 25 years ago and every match day you would get masses of cars parked all the way up Pitt Street and on our street. The little charvas would just sit on the wall and collect their money from drivers. I was told that the threats were not empty. These kids were basically offering a small-scale protection racket. That was ages ago mind.

Quiet a few, I especially hate the Big Issue blokes who try to sell you one and then keep it to themselves ("it's my last one"). Cheeky bastards.

Respect to those charvers who say 'lend iz half a quid' though, I love that phrase

it used to be “lend us ten bob”,
– it’s a lot more inventive nowadays!

Anyone seen the lass on Northumberland street, generally outside Superdrug, quite well dressed, and well spoken, about 18-20, asks for 40p, always polite. First time I thought she generally had no money, but then she asked me again a few weeks later, seems pretty random.

I remember them, I got a mate in about 5 years ago with on of my dads mates. He parked kid asked for money, guy tells them to f*** off, as he has a dog in the back of the car that will attack them. The kid replies "well mister thats all good, but can your dog put out fires ?". He gave them the 50p.
