watched a close mate almost die from Mrsa... caught in rake lane! and subsequently, lost a business i was in with him. cheers

Perhaps you could have mentioned that at the outset then.

You still come across as not knowing the facts tbf.  Its as much the visitors to the hospitals causing the problems as the staff within them unfortunately.

refer you to my post, just above. posted at the same time.

I edited my post to include your second one as what I've said is relevant to that too.

You can't throw something like that into an argument & say people are ignoring it when you hadn't mentioned it previously.

Obviously what happened to you and your friend is awful, but your timing of introducing it to the argument is crass to say the least.

Have to agree I'm afraid, shame about your mate and your business tho'
They keep saying their strategy will take several years to implement, I accept this and realise that in the future we may be able to hold onto players much easier if we manage to achieve success without burning cash to get there. There's next to no point in overspending until you're in the s*** to get to Europe, only to fall out of it for several years and potentially enter relegation battles. Be frugal, spend the money wisely but at all times keep a core of good players in the side and try the utmost to create a core which is reasonably stable for three-four years.

I fully expect to get slayed and slated here for being a w***** apologist and maybe I'm wrong, maybe all they care about is lining their pockets and f***ing us over but you can argue it both ways. The haters have a more aggressive way of talking about it but we'll not know who's right until MA's ownership comes to an end.

in my experience, people agree with mates on here regardless of what is being discussed.

I I was accused of basing my opinions on the nhs, on what i read in the tabloids. so i pointed out the basis of my opinions.
I was again discredited, so pointed out a further bad experience. I could go on listing a few more. But think i have shown that my opinion is based on more than the tabloids.

I know how much people on here cant bear to have their Clever Smart Arsery shown up, that is why they are now stating it was bad timing to introduce it to the argument.

Its simple really, If you cant handle finding out what peoples opinions are based on, dont accuse them of basing it on the tabloids.

The NHS pay my wages so i'm obviously gonna stick up for them.

I've worked in the private sector previously although that was in the life sciences sector and not in a hospital.  In my experience there's far more dedication from staff in my current job than there was in my last job.  When I was in the private sector any request from the management to get something done was always met with "make it worth my while or go f*** yourself - you're raking in enough profits".  In the NHS it's more a case of "yeah, if it doesn't get done then it's a patient that suffers - we've got a responsibility here".

Obviously other people's experiences may differ but that's certainly the impression that I get.
I'm bored of Hampden anyway
