Bit gutted as well tbh. I honestly can't think of a single thing I've got to look forward to at the moment.

Would say the new season but thats still months away.
Cheers, you just reminded me that I've got quite a lot to look forward to :D This weekend will be ace, going to a gig next weekend, then all of July will just be a perfect balance between relaxing and working before heading off to Ibiza for a week in August.

Role Model: why are you so chronically melancholic?

And why don't you do something to address it?

Is life really so bleak as you make it out to be? If so, do something to change it.

Life throws up all sorts of horrible challenges, but the trick is to find something positive amid the s**** and focus on that.

:)

I'm off work on the drink tomorrow. And I'm playing MGS4. So could be worse.

AYE!

YOU'RE 21 FOR GADS SAKE!

Think of poor Midds, GM, Lanky etc, whose life is soon to be a mire of old mans beard, and Ralgex, and tartan slippers!

You need to realise that adult life can be as fun as teenage muggings and gang warfare!

I didn't exactly state the full picture as it were.

I've just finished the best 3 years of my life. I've just had a sublime last few weeks where I finished uni and had a lot of fun doing so, stayed with my friend for a bit and had a great time after that and I just yesterday got back from Download festival which was a lot of fun. I made the most of the times I had and now things have completely dried up (as has my bank balance) but I'll sort something out soon enough, it'll just be (as you say) a bit of a challenge but it is one that a lot of people have to face. I am doing stuff about it, I didn't say I wasn't. Looking for a new house and job in Lincoln so I can continue my life there (where I am fairly content) as a working member of society rather than just a student.

I'm mildly p*ssed off about persistent inconveniences.

Other than that though i'm in a rather positive mood.
I'm bored of Hampden anyway

Have some free advice, you're in year 10 right? Here's some advice - actually listen in class from now on, it'll really pay off next summer when you realise you have to learn a whole subject's syllabus in a day. Do your homework, listen in class, make sure you understand everything and you'll be set. You won't regret it. If you don't follow this advice, you really will.

Me a year ago wouldn't have listened and would go on f***ing about, but seriously, don't sleep in lessons. Everyone pretty much in my year is thinking that if they'd put in some effort, there wouldn't have been so many desperate late nights put in around exams, they really do sneak up on you as from the end of year 10, GCSEs come around pretty damn fast.

Could do with a bit more money as I have lots of things coming up at the moment but I am feeling really REALLY good at the moment. Life seems to be coming together for me at the moment.
Acceptance level adequate.

I'm trying to help others. If I hadn't slept in Latin all of last year, I could've maybe got an A* in it, I'm pretty damn sure I haven't. Same with the Sciences, if I'd listened in Chemistry/Physics and listened to my Biology teacher instead of staring at her, I wouldn't have been revising crazy intensively at the last minute. If I could go back even 3/4 months, I'd have worked, but hopefully I've done enough for some decent grades. :)

I f***ed about never went lessons, came out with the grades just enough to get in college.
Now they are forgotten.

Have you broken up now then, GG? :(

Christ, last summer was the best summer ever. 11 weeks of holiday. Was beyond immense.

It's s*** that we've got to go back to Sixth Form this time round, even though the exams all finish at the same time.

Nahhh... I did just enough in the mocks, got results to get into 6th form and do the subjects I want, but I knew I could do better. Opening that envelope on results day and finding out you've fulfilled your potential, I can bet there's little that rivals it tbh, especially if you've put the work in.
