I'm working from home today, and my boss emailed me earlier saying she wants me to work a Sunday next month. So I replied to her saying "Haha, good one. Bit too elaborate to be properly funny though". Thankfully our email server's now gone down so she can't go apeshit, and will now be forced to have time to cool down before responding. Fight the power, people.

Fight the power!

Right on brother.

Did you know she was serious though?

Oh yes, I knew she was serious. She tried to palm it off on one of my workmates yesterday, and there was only me left to ask.

Thing is she won't actually be able to tell if I'm being serious or not though, that's the beauty of this scenario. She's not clever enough to be able to tell. She has zero emotional intelligence.

Nicely done.

You know, I'm thinking if she pushes this back to me now, I'm gonna go with the whole "I will not work on the Sabbath day" routine and make like I'll lodge a grievance and sue the company for religious discrimination if she forces me to go.

Don't play pissy pants with me, missus! :knuppel2:

Paranoid. I recall having some disturbing dreams last night, but can't remember them and I've been feeling anxious and paranoid since I woke up and don't know why. This is just f***ed up.

I had an awful one a few weeks ago that my sister and her partner had both died and I had to adopt their baby (she doesn't actually have a baby). Was totally shaken when I woke up, eventually got over it and then started to think it may have been a prophecy of some sort. :undecided: Couldn't believe how much a simple dream screwed me up, I was in a weird mood for days.

Pretty much as close to being a 'my life is torture, I want to die' Goth as I've ever been.

I sometimes have dreams that lead me to think like that, but only briefly. "What if this.." "What if that..." "what the christ did that mean...?"  Then I think, "It was a dream Stuart, they mean nothing, and have as much impact on the future, as Mystic NutMeg!"  I know that when I post things on here, it is generally and 93% utter s****, but when it comes to the phsycological aspect, I like to think I can hold my own. (and no references to what you perceive me to be holding please )
"You're giving ME the 'it's naat you it's me' routine? If it's anybaady, it's ME!!"
"Ok George, it's YOU!"
"You're DAMN RIGHT IT'S ME!"

No, I mean you definitely work much harder and much longer hours than I do in truly unpleasant, hot, stressful conditions. I have it easy  by comparison. :snod:

Why do you go back on a Friday? Probably an obvious reason.

 I thought that said voluntary incest day.
"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

Not really. Doing this 'training' means not having to write formal lesson plans. This one day I'm giving up will save me hours and hours of planning. :)

Canny. Grandad who I hardly ever see came over tonight, talked a lot about my geordie and irish roots. Has some great stories, and confirmed the tenous link to the Milburn family. My Great Great Grandad at 80 years old went missing for a weekend came back and introduced Jackie Milburn's mam as his new wife  She was 74 at the time and he outlived her.

Was fantastic to see him, he divorced my Grandma quite a while ago and has moved locations a lot since then, now lives in Shropshire. He's a lovely bloke and to hear my Dad call him Dad was quite heartwarming for some reason. :aww:

Last day at work tomorrow as well. Go back to Liverpool for 3rd year of Uni on Saturday :celb:

Kiefer at nursery, my day off and lots to smoke. :celb:
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.
