I'm on my 3rd coffee already like.
"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

Shocked, amazed and very f***ing happy.

The FSA decided people in my role have to sit an annual exam to prove we can do our jobs and despite being absolutely certain there wasn't any chance in hell I had passed I found out today I actually have!

48 people in my company had to take it and 20 failed, makes me feel like I am not as stupid as I sometimes think I am.

Acceptance level adequate.

And you're quite sure they didn't get the results mixed up somehow?

You need marriage guidance counselling, by the sounds of it...

Annoyed.  A house on the opposite side of the street's alarm has been going off for a solid half hour now and I want sleep.

Truly chuffed. Got the new telly I had been after, and it looks brilliant. My Mac is really good. And I'm getting fitter for the start of my Uni team season in January, at the minute i'm just dying to score goals.

:( What's up, blood?

Without meaning to insult the guys I met at the Trent last week, I was asked if I fancied a couple of jars tonight with some guys I ant seen for a while.  Knowing that my ears are s****, I always try my damndest to stay with the conversaton in large groups or even one on one, but tonight was just awful.  We met in a bar with a solo guitarist, which made things a little more difficult, and so I tried to make my excuses and save them, and me the effort, but they changed all their plans, and said we could go somewhere more quiet, and wouldn't budge. So we went, which I admire and love them for, but clarity wasn't that much better. I hate the idea of disrupting a whole night for my sake.

Dont get me wrong, I know there are far FAR worse things in the world than a bit of hearing loss, but, let me have this whinge eh?

Mate, don't feel down about it. Sounds like you've got good friends who care a great deal about you and value your company massively, which is no bad thing at all. And I can fully relate to the awkwardness you're feeling about putting people out, but they wanted to do it, because they wanted you to be comfortable mate. :)

Of course, the hearing loss issue is a b****** of a thing and would get even the most resolutely happy person down on occasion, and you have my complete sympathy on that mate. Being of the tall variety myself, I also frequently find it hard to follow conversations in pubs when surrounded by midgets or people of restricted growth, it does put a real dampener on proceedings, tbh.

Chin up, Lankster. You're still very much a legend in our eyes !

:)

Not the best, supposed to be meeting some girl in a few hours, but I decided to go out and get hammered last night, of which i'm now feeling the consequences. If I don't perk up, I think I may easily f*** this all up as I'm in a general can't be arsed mood.
