Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur are still great headliners and miles better than the tripe they had in the form of Jay Z last year. Other than tht it's s***. Prodigy are headlining the other stage the same time as Blur are heardling the pyramid stage so I wouldn't be suprised if they drew a bigger crowd. And out of the three why were Blur given the Sunday night spot?

I'm going again as usual.  It's not 100% about the lineup for me, as I like to have a wander around and catch 3-4 bands a day.  Rushing from stage to stage and getting in a tizz about missing bands is not fun.  Nevertheless I quite like the lineup compared to most years.

Particularly looking forward to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, British Sea Power, Prodigy and Glasvegas.  Prodigy vs Blur is a bit of an evil bloody clash though.

I wandered past them playing some proper random stage last year.  They sounded mint but I've not got round to listening to them since.  They good then?

Looks s*** IMO

Most of the bands i would watch are playing Leeds anyway

Actually, on that note whatever position Slim plays for NOFC, make sure he can take alot of shots, nearly broke my hand with one in warmup,  I took some shots of Steve Bowey (ex Bristol City, I think he took their set pieces) and Slims had far more venom in them.  Don't think I've experienced such a powerful strike before.

Aye, there's always loads of class electronic music on, main reason i go tbh. Majority of people think they just cater for people who are into Indie/Rock. Really looking forward to it this year like.

Is the dance village on after the other stages or at the same time ? Hoping it doesn't clash otherwise i'll have to miss it as i'm planning on seeing all 3 headliners on the main stage.

Dance stages go on a bit longer iirc. Not that much longer though, headliners will probably play an extended set like in nightclubs etc when theres nothing going on after them. :D

Cool. I remember the one more tune chant resulting with about another 8 or so more tunes from Steve Angello once, in the end they just turned on all the lights and got everyone out when he was still playing

It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.” - Sir Bobby Robson
