I have like loads of old VHS's from the 80s and 90s. I still watch them sometimes.

Same here I used to particularly love the Survivor Series back when it was 'proper' ie around 87-92ish!

Lol the old videos where they used to cut about half of the actual match out. Particularly survivor series 88. I also love 1990 where they had that winners match at the end with the badly correographed double teaming by Hogan and the Warrior.

I also love the old silvervision intro on the tapes: "If it's body slams, SIDE suplexes, clotheslines and drop kicks that yer after" with all the wrong moves being done at the time the narrator says the names.

AHHAHAH!!!, so true! that was class, I also remember they used to have this s**** trailer for the World Body Building Federation (or something like that) which Mcmahon was backing at the time.

Basically, things got completely out of hand with far too much alcohol, flight attendants getting badly harrassed. Apparently Ric Flair was found with one of the stewardess' cornered in a hallway, with his pants around his ankle, swinging his dick around in a circle shouting "WOOO!!!" at the top of his lungs.

I remember Gorilla Monsoon RIP absolutely despising Rick Flair and Bobby the Brain. I used to love his commentary. Either he was a good actor or he genuinely loathed those two, and a few others like Mr Perfect and Jimmy "the Mouth of the South" Hart!

Regarding Rick Flair being the greatest, Jake "The Snake" Roberts was miles better imo - my all time fave. That time he tied Macho Man Randy Savage up in the ropes and then set his king cobra on him... they just don't make 'em like that anymore. Flair's WOOOOO was absolutely class to be fair though.

WWE's s**** now like, buying out WCW was a bad move as there isn't any competition to drive the company on, TNA's got some decent wrestlers but it's still only a small company at the moment.

They've also lost some good main eventers over the past 5 years, The Rock, Stone Cold, Benoit, Guerrero and Angle were a big loss to the company, having to make s**** like Bradshaw champ really is desperate.
