I did warn you, didn't I? :smug:
I didn't think it was a brilliant episode, some funny moments and generally a good storyline though.
No Cartman of course meant a few jokes less, but he didn't fit into this episode, so fair play to Trey & Matt for excluding him.
My favourite part is probably right at the end though, with the "we must treat it with the RESPECT......that it deserves". And then when he's finished the speach and is just looking diagonally upwards with his fist in the air. Classic Randy.

Good one this week. Not many hillarious moments, just stayed funny throughout the whole episode.

Best part of the Pioneer Village episode is when the "terrorist" flips through the burger like it's cash.   I lost it.

Won Emmy for best animated show, 60 minutes or more for the Imaginationland-trilogy.
Returns with new episodes on the 8th of October with an hour-long season-premier :D

Can't wait either.

Hope there's more of Randy. Taking over as the keystone character from Cartman for me.

Half of it, i.e. the imaginationland aspect, was good.

The other half, i.e. Cartman running around wanting Kyle to suck his balls, was tedious and boring.

Finally returns tonight. Should hit the net in the next few hours.

Episode synopsis courtesy of Mrtwig.net;

Quote
1208 - The China Probrem

After watching the intimidating opening ceremonies of the recent Olympic games, Cartman understands that the Chinese are only just days away from invading his homeland. While the rest of the American people are haunted by the memory of a recent tragic event, only Butters will stand with Cartman as he confronts the Chinese.

The rape scene on the pinball machine
Rip their flesh
Burn their hearts
Stab them in the eyes
Rape their women as they cry
Kill their servants
Burn their homes
Till there's no blood left to spill
Hail and Kill
Power and dominion are taken by the will
By divine right hail and kill

 It actually was the closest I've ever been to being offended by the show. Some of those flashbacks were flat out uncomfortable.

Spoiler

I mean, god damn! You can't unsee s*** like that.

Hope they do, tbh.
It's not the first time they've been at the pair, though it's definitely a lot worse time. Funnier last time though.
One reason why I think I didn't like this that much, is because both plots felt a bit dated when compared to how recent South Park usually is. It's not like the opening-ceremony or Indi is on anyone's mind any more.
