Paracetamol, and don't wrap yourself up too much. You might feel shivery but you need to cool your body, not boil it any more.

Just shifted that f***er yesterday, finally. The temperature went on for about three days, with the headaches/sore throat/general fatigue lasting the full week or so. Great fun.

Hopefully yours moves along a bit quicker

Whole family at one point or another has been ill in the last week: shits, sickness, hot/cold, I'm starting to feel a bit dodgy, ffs, 4 days off, it bloody knows like.

Worst cold I've had in a long time at the minute. Been kept awake by coughing and a sore throat, nose is red and sore as owt from wiping so often. generally rank.

It was actually quite a deep cut from a moment of carelessness. I dont even have a razor, I have this f***ing s*** blade that is difficult to grip

Went in for what was meant to be a routine check, but instead rushed upstairs to cardiology for investigative procedures because my heart rate was way too high, considering I'm on beta blockers already. So now I'm stuck on a ward overnight wondering when this f***ing torment will end. Still, as they say, things could be worse...

Whilst I'm sorry you're in hospital overnight, you really could be there for far worse reasons than investigation. My (36 year old) friend had a heart attack on Christmas day and has had to have a cardiac stent. Hopefully they'll find the reason for the high heart rate and be able to treat it, and then your 'torment' will hopefully be over.
