My view on punk is that it totally goes against its own values. You would know a punk when you see one, because its like a uniform. Punk was originally meant to be a statement of unique identity. The bands that are still playing 'punk' now are technically doing so in the current meaning of the term, but they are'nt doing so by the terms original meaning. Punk went so against the grain that it created its own in my opinion.

well i am a big fan of the clash. tbh i listen to a lot of reggae and ska and just any old alternative, which includes american and brittish punk, reggae and ska.

If you like your reggae mixed with punk check out The Ruts. Fabulous band back in the day.

The misfits  :coolsmiley:
Rip their flesh
Burn their hearts
Stab them in the eyes
Rape their women as they cry
Kill their servants
Burn their homes
Till there's no blood left to spill
Hail and Kill
Power and dominion are taken by the will
By divine right hail and kill
