.... yet we treat every c*** that comes here like royalty, and if we're such c***s, why do so many of these c***s come here.

Spoken like a true ENGLISH gent.

Seriously - I despair. And I don't give a s*** if anyone is sick of me whingeing. I really can do without reading rants like that because I can't take you seriously at all. It's like listening to the bitter old drunk left talking to himself at the bar at the end of the night.

He doth speaketh the truth though.

I don't disagree with the point. I just object to the manner in which it is being made.

And yes, I am aware that I sound like a disapproving old woman. I don't care.

How liberal is NO?

Freedom of expression is a good thing Catherine.

Not so liberal when they've got some ridiculous rules for what constitutes a banning.

And don't patronise me, Adam.

I get away with all sorts so f*** the rules  . I didnt mean to be patronising; sorry for that but i do think that if people arent abusive they have the right to express themselves however they want to.

Deep inside every c*** knows what I'm on about.  These fuckin wop bastards the neet, this an accepted part of their culture and they're rated by the UN as diplomatic c***s.  Imagine wor country allowing that to happen the neet?  Imagine wor country parading 15 Iranians in front of TV camera's instructing them to call their countries a bunch of wanks or else.  See this racism s****, every c*** pisses and shites the same.  If you take away our arsehole leaders going in to war in Iraq so far up USA's arse it's fuckin ridiculous, look at wor NATIONS values, forget aboot fuckin immigration etc, and fuckin internal politics, we have rights, we are free.  I repeat again I'm proud to be English.

I'll never condone football violence ever, but I tell you what it is give me 1000 o wor c***s who want a row to 10000 of them wop bastards who want to throw missiles, darts the works..... we've evolved from that s**** of the 70's... English people will always be a target, always, people will chortle, but wor culture music, life, footbaal, is something which a lot of the world fuckin wants to be a part of.  Is that deluded I don't fuckin think so.

our football is s***. Talking specifically about England ie the national team, we're an absolute disgrace to football, if you want real football go to Argentina. That goes for everything else as well. Argentina or France, with Germany coming a close third.

Two of their best players couldn't get a game for West Ham, and the average attendance in the Argentinian league is 9,000.  Wor football is s***, but or league is the best in the world, I will stake £100 with anyone now, we will have 3 of the 4 teams in the bes club competition in the world, semi's.  France have a good football school, lots of good french players in the last 15 years, thei football culture, along with any c*** elses, doesn't even begin to compare, the sad thing is when people that try to be clever type these sort of things, the likes of the krauts admit it.  f*** that though.  I'm aon aboot these bastards the neet, fuckin arseholes.

Bullcrap, the English league is the best there is. And i've had the misfortune to have to sit through plenty of french league matches. Nowhere else do you see teams really going for it. There's too much bullshit everywhere else in places like France, Argentina and Italy especially!
Saw him in Primark with Neil Warnock earlier today

 I would absolutely love to see you try that with some of the bigoted arseholes I've had to deal with in my time up here in Scotland.

In all fairness, the anti-English thing is largely only done in a jocular (pun intended) manner by most Scots, with only a few eejits having any real Pictish type hatred of the English. By and large, the Scots are a decent people - although I would say that with my ancestry.

His Uncle is Asian according to his first post in this thread, so am not so sure the emotions run any deeper than football.

I love the way no one ever takes issue with 'what' stevie says only 'how' he says it. Am grown up enough to realise we dont all express ourselves the same way and that the content of what people say is more important than their style.

Of course people are welcome to act like a frenchman and put style above substance but thats not for me.

I don't really give a f*** what Stevie says....I'd like him to dress it up a bit like.
"I'm a competitor and I want to play every game, every minute. The manager knows what I'm thinking. He knows I want to play. He makes his choices and I have to respect them."But it's true we don't share quite the same philosophy. For him, it's more crosses, a bit of a more direct style, whereas I'm more the kind of player who likes to play short passes.
"I like to pass and move.. .."That is the kind of football I like. That's the philosophy I learned at the French academy at Clairefontaine." HBA

I've no idea what classifies being "English" anymore. I know what being "Scottish" is all about but the English have got absolutely no separate identity of their own it seems. So many English people seem to have got "British" tangled up with Englishness. For that reason alone, Scottish independence would be a good thing as it would force England to rethink their cultural/national identity for the modern world. Funny as hell when it boils down to the archetypal icons of Sunday cricket on the village green, Morris dancers and dancing round the maypole - after that what have you got?  ???
