Yeah right what are gonna do send over a WW2 aircraft carrier...
"I'm a competitor and I want to play every game, every minute. The manager knows what I'm thinking. He knows I want to play. He makes his choices and I have to respect them."But it's true we don't share quite the same philosophy. For him, it's more crosses, a bit of a more direct style, whereas I'm more the kind of player who likes to play short passes.

Have we got any soldiers left to fight Iran?
Most of our fans that get behind us and are fantastic. Those who don't should shut the hell up or they can come round to my house and I will fight them. Ian Holloway, Legend.

 :knuppel2:

According to 5 Live government insiders say this means instead of negotiating privately it'll become a public war of words.  The expert they had on claims military action is out of the question for the moment because we don't have enough of a military presence in the area as so many troops are tied up.  Ms Rice and co are refusing to comment and back us because they don't want the Iranians to ask for their guys the US captured in Iraq as a trade.

Quote
The prime minister's official spokesman said Mr Blair's remarks about a "different phase" did not refer to any extreme diplomatic action, such as expelling Iranian diplomats from Britain or military action.
Quote
Britain's former ambassador to Iran, Sir Richard Dalton, said "different phase" could mean generating pressure on Iran from the international community.

"I expect he means that we shall have to step up criticism and generate additional international pressures on Iran," he said.

Hardly 'f***ed' like.
