As corny as some bits of that film were, though - it's got some cracking action scenes in it. Especially in the last twenty minutes where he, in typical Arnie fashion, invades the island.

'Don't break radio silence until they see me.'
'How will I know?'
'Because all f***ing hell is gonna break loose.'

The bit where he breaks the guys neck too on the plane, 'Do me a favour, don't wake my friend - he's dead tired.' :boomboom:

b******... had been trying to think of the line for that bit.

One of my personal favourite scenes of the film is where he encloses himself in the garden shed, then proceeds to throw circular blades, slicing the foreheads of his enemies.

 Awesome.

The thing about Arnie is though, i wish he'd been evil just that bit more. I saw my fair share of eighteens when i was a little'un, i mean i think i first saw Predator when i was six, but the Terminator was one of the first films i ever saw. Probably why the love affair with Arnie began... and for me, as a little kid, there was no scarier villain that Schwarzenegger as The Terminator.

Awesome villain, just brilliant.

He was never bad in anything else.

Same sorta thing with Bruce Willis. He was an ace baddie in The Jackal.

[Cooke aims a gun at Matrix]
Cooke: f*** you, asshole!
[Cooke squeezes the trigger, but the gun clicks empty]
Matrix: f*** *you*, asshole.

Haahhhahahaha!

He is 60 in the summer and has had a heart valve replaced so let the poor bugger chill out as Governor, which also restricts his acting time as its seen as unfair competition.

I think he's done well staying in the limelight but also doing something useful.

Aye, got absolutely nothing against the man whatsoever. I love him to pieces - he's my childhood hero absolutely through and through. Second only to Shearer.

The Terminator/Predator - two most favouritest films ever.

Get to da Choppah.

T2 is a masterpiece, so is Predator mind.

I am a bit partial to the lighter side of Arnie as well, Twins especially.

Big fan of True Lies, perfect Arnie film.

the running man was fantastic. i agree with all the arnie lovers, i had all his films when i was about 12. even his "s***" films were brilliant, kindergarten cop and twins were genius.

the only 2 s*** ones i can think of now were terminator 3 (2 was the ultimate film, it could never be bettered) and Hercules in new york (which was so bad it grew on me.)

arnie for president.  O0

Forgot about Running Man

Late 80's early 90's films were by far the best. I dont know if its because of my age (1981) or what but there were loads of fantastic films to watch back then.

Running Man was alright but had the shittest villain ever.

True Lies would have been good if it wasn't so s***.
