I was thinking exactly the same thing about Eddie this morning. blueyes.gif

"I'm a competitor and I want to play every game, every minute. The manager knows what I'm thinking. He knows I want to play. He makes his choices and I have to respect them."But it's true we don't share quite the same philosophy. For him, it's more crosses, a bit of a more direct style, whereas I'm more the kind of player who likes to play short passes.
"I like to pass and move.. .."That is the kind of football I like. That's the philosophy I learned at the French academy at Clairefontaine." HBA

"I took the decision to resign in September 2008 only after very careful and anxious consideration. The decision to resign was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever had to take in my life. I believe that anybody who knows me and my attachment to Newcastle United and the North East in general will understand how difficult this must have been. I very much hope that the decision of the Tribunal now confirms why I felt that I had no option but to resign from the position as Manager of the Club that I love."- Kevin Keegan speaking on 02/10/2009

I miss the likes of McEnroe and Jimmy White, real characters as I miss Romario.....Caught the end of his career with Barca.

Flamengo, Valencia, Vasco, Corinthians, Miami etc

Top scorer in the Brazilian league aged 39 though in a league that included Tevez. ;)

romario is now playing in some amatuer leagues in the states.  Florida, i think.  Claims he's close to getting his 1,000th goal.

Where was he when he did that spin turn with the ball seemingly glued to his right boot?

Gone back to Brazil with Corinthians I think, he was at Miami last year and has also went to Australia.

Park Life that was against Madrid for Barca.

pretty sure he's still playing in miami.  http://www.miamifc.com/team/players
he's still on the roster.

Back at Vasco mate, I gurantee it. The one club where he'll have all the motivation left to get his 1,000 goals, his boyhood club.

These are a good two, could add Steven Segal to the list but wasn't really a hero, just made a mint film, should of been the boy and now makes some of the worst tripe to come out on DVD.
