Everyone at graft squirting over Ed Sheeran tickets. Imagine parting with £70 for 3 hours of that melt.

It's admittedly a proper, proper snobby assumption, but I get the impression that the people who aren't really that into music and just go by whatever's popular have latched onto him because in pop music not having the looks has generally always equated to being good, so by that reasoning he must be really, really good, despite their ears telling them that he's a proper bland, MOR, Marvin Gaye plagiarising little squirt.

Nah, you're definitely right. He's plays the guitar and they therefore see him as some sort of alternative hero, despite playing the most painfully bland guff. He's undoubtedly talented like, just uses his talent for unspeakable evil.

Just bought tickets for The Book of Mormon. Unfortunately it's in Swedish, so it probably won't be anywhere near as good as the original version, but it's been getting good reviews over here so hopefully it's decent.

Got a day-ticket for the Friday.

Would pay £60 to see Radiohead on their own so Belle and Sebastian is a nice bonus.

Going to see Blossoms next month. Are we still allowed to like them or have they sold out yet?

Went to see Band of Horses last night at the Academy, and they were absolutely on point.

Few live videos I had seen of them, the singing was a bit shaky but certainly not yesterday. Nice mix of old and new in the setlist.

Bonobo was very good, but it's funny how certain songs are better live than others. Kiara, which is one of my favourites, sounded a complete mess to me, but he followed it with Kong, which I'm more indifferent to, and it sounded amazing. He didn't play the track Migration, which was a shame, but he was still really good.

Steve Earle at the Glasgow Bandstand.  Should be good.
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Student says " I am very discouraged. What should I do?" Master says, "encourage others."
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
It takes a wise man to learn from his mistakes, but an even wiser man to learn from others.
This is what should be done. By one who is skilled in goodness, and who knows the path of peace: Let them be able and upright, straightforward and gentle in speech. Humble and not conceited, contented and easily satisfied. Unburdened with duties and frugal in their ways. Peaceful and calm, and wise and skillful, not proud and demanding in nature. Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

New Order at Granada Studio's with a 12 piece synth orchestra. Should be f***ing mint.

Alan Shearer:

404 games for Newcastle - 206 goals
63 Caps for England - 30 goals
733 career games - 379 goals
Newcastle's all time leading goalscorer
Ended his career by scoring against the scum in a 4-1 win
Turned Man United down, but lived the dream Alan Shearer=TRUE LEGEND

Just in from basshunter. He looks old and keeps talking about his boner. Would not recommend.
