Anyone got any giggs to look forward to this year?
« on: Wednesday 13 September 2006, 11:20:21 PM »
5th Dec - The Charlatans at the Academy.
7th Dec - Dirty Pretty Things at the Academy
21st Dec - Kasabian at the Arena

I don't really go to that many gigs so i'm looking foward to these ones.

Alan Shearer:

404 games for Newcastle - 206 goals
63 Caps for England - 30 goals
733 career games - 379 goals
Newcastle's all time leading goalscorer
Ended his career by scoring against the scum in a 4-1 win
Turned Man United down, but lived the dream Alan Shearer=TRUE LEGEND

So, you are a formerly dead black model, who is now suddenly a living white hobo after spending a weekend on the moon. Is that correct?

Gutted I missed out on Muse. Saw them at Leeds and they were fantastic, but the people I know that are going are all standing, and the only tickets left are seating. Not too keen on sitting on my own like.

They were on at Northumbria a couple of years ago.  Sodding brilliant.

I was looking foward to Devendra Banhart on Sept 5th, but having no mates with any discernable level of taste had no-one to go with  :(

Did anyone go?

My mate has played a few gigs at the 100 club. Quite a history to the place but really is a s*** venue.

Primal Scream at the Academy - Nov 19. I might get a ticket for Muse if there are still some in a couple of weeks when I have some money, and I'll see what else is on as well. I don't go to as many gigs as I used to and I want to start rectifying that.

Not a music gig, but I've also got tickets to see Ross Noble at the City Hall on October 30.

"I'm here to help Kevin, bringing young players through and also recommend certain players to him. He'll say yes and no, he has the final word, no-one else. Everything that happens will be run past him. I'm not going to bring players in behind his back - I'm not into that."
