How exactly was Bolton a 'great ambassador'?

Can you list his achievements?

Bolton is someone who apparently greatly disliked the UN, so he seemed like an odd person to appoint to represent the US there. That would be like appointing an anti-Semite as an ambassador to Israel.

I'm just glad a smaal measure of common sense is starting to manifest itself in Washington.

Time for Duck Cheney to go next?

Mr Bolton have been very strong in his advocacy for human rights and human dignity and Im really proud of that. Not to mention, the important part he played in imposing sanctions on N.Korea for its nuclear launch recently. The democrats are obviously abusing their power and its really disappointing to see that. And the names Dick Cheney.

What a bad and sad news.Mr Bolton was a great ambassador for the US and I think he will still be if he didnt leave the UN.I just hope that whoever is next to take Mr Bolton's place continue the good job that Mr Bolton has done. After Mr Rumsfeld and now Mr Bolton out from politics,I wonder who will be the next victim.

Erm...and yes. I'm absolutely chuffed this c*** is gone too. He's a f***ing parasitic little bitch. Good f***ing riddance to bad rubbish.

Well the failure to prevent Korea developing and testing its nukes is not exactly something to brag about is it?

As for human rights and dignity

Quote
“It is a big mistake for us to grant any validity to international law even when it may seem in our short-term interest to do so - because, over the long term, the goal of those who think that international law really means anything are those who want to constrict the United States. We ought to be concerned about this so-called right of humanitarian intervention.”
