Which looking at your post is what you have done. Pretty straight forward rearraging to make M^-1 the subject yes?

I've got this p*ss easy simultaneous equation to solve, and it says solve it by the matrix inverse method though, is that just Cramers rule?

TBH, I'm not sure, it's been awhile since I did anything specific regarding matrices.  I'd imagine it just wants you to premultiply your matrix equation,

Mx=z,

by the inverse of M such that

x=(M^-1)z.

Can't really remember Cramer's rule TBH but if it looks right, give it a try.

Not meaning to be condascending but I don't see what your problem is.  Where are you having the difficulty?  Get everything within the integral in terms of u and integrate.

You think this is a good reflection of the geordie faithful? Maths threads? Its enough putting up with everyone banging on about american television as some sort of 'experience' without havng to deal with algebraic w***-fests.
