Nah, I just think there's a point when it goes too far. When a band sounds 100% the same as another, especially when they have 'their own sound' then it's beyond homage.

I can deal with similar sounds, but I really do not like it when rap artists find success by sampling a far superior track from 20-40 years ago and defiling it with nonsense about how they are rich and various women sex them.

I hate days where I can't find motivation to do anything. I'm only just now getting to my coursework for Monday. Just makes you feel guilty and wasteful.

Stokies do sound scouse a lot of the time.  They've got a really generic northern accent peppered with the odd word that sounds completely scouse.

The Stoke accent is nowhere near distinct enough for people from other parts of the country to say "Oh, you're from Stoke then?" when hearing you talk. Scouse is the closest thing that other people will know.

Nah, I just think there's a point when it goes too far. When a band sounds 100% the same as another, especially when they have 'their own sound' then it's beyond homage.

Absolutely. There's an XM station - the name escapes me - that's all old-school rap and the use of samples seems to be so much more imaginative than now. And you can stick autotune and vocoders up your arse too.
